Mastication? Noo you dirty filthy lot! MASTICATION I said! Not Masturbation!!!
Well I did it, I got my tongue pierced on Saturday. It actually wasn’t a big deal but the bar was so huge it was uncomfortable to say the least. The following day I woke up with the feeling I had a sumo wrester’s ass wedged in my mouth and there is not a darn thing I could do about it. Hence why the bar was originally so huge to allow the tongue to swell to heal properly.
My tongue is still swollen and it aches like hell.. but I am telling you straight – how the fuck do you EAT? Trying to chew is virtually impossible because you naturally want to chew the darn ball. I am managing to drink water and luke warm soup but anything else either hurts or seems to take forever – I tackled half a slice of bread yesterday evening and I had to concentrate on every bite – then attempting to get it lined up to swallow it is just unreal.
Seriously, tongue peircings look hot, no, they look hotter than hot but if I have a problem eating properly after it has healed its coming out. I love my food too much… and I could never imagine never being able to suck on a chocolate button again – that would kill me!!

You asked the question how is a person supposed to eat with something like that in their mouth. Well, I’d have thought with a great deal of difficulty unfortunately Cindy
but hopefully the swelling will soon go down and it will be less painful.

Looks good hunny.
Put small pieces of food in your mouth behind the piercing straight onto your back teeth. Chew ALOT and be careful as with the big bar its easy to bite the bar with your front teeth!!
It’ll take a few days before things are easier, and do NOT use Listerine, its toxic. Use Corsodil if you can get it. xxx

well princess it looks sexy but glad it wasent me as i too hate things like ulcers stoping me eating like you love my food but it be alright when swelling goes down one of my ex girlfreinds had it done and its hot,hope it heals soon babe well done going through with it .nice pic aswell (smiling) hugs vickie xxx

I have to be honest here.. I have never experienced anything so bloody painful in my entire life. I can’t even relax with a DVD and munch on some Nachos. I personally would rather endure a 4 hour tattoo than endure endless days of swelling and pain. I am now in my 3rd day and I sincerely hope it will start calming down soon. As for my man – he hates it so when he is home I will have to get a special hidden one but I am so determined to see this through until the end. But I tell you if I can’t melt chocolate buttons in my mouth ever again then it’s gotta come out.

I must say it looks lush and don’t worry you will be able to eat in a month or so lol…..only kidding
I lived on super noodles for about a week, well untill the bloody extra large bar got changed to a smaller one,I know there not that healthy but who cares at a time like this a girl has eat …… one things for sure you don’t have to chew then they just slide down your throat hehe..

Foxxy your last comment on my blog before worried me .. what do you mean the ball went into your tongue .. is that still possible after it has healed? I truly am beginning to wonder if its all worth it :(. But then I am just feeling sorry for myself right now and pissed as hell I can’t chew shit! *not literally may I add!!*

Don’t worry hun what happened to me has never happened to anyone else I know… For some strange reason my skin on the bottom of my tongue formed into a flap around the ball causing it to sink into it. Not quite sure why this happened because the bar was not to short. I’m sure it won’t happen to you.
Give it a few weeks and you will love it and so will your man
Although I must admit this happened after a few years and I do think I was ready to take it out

Hi Cindy, well done it looks fab! you have made me miss mine now! when i started my nursing course i had to take it out and OMG you ask anyone who has it what is it like to tke it out?? HORRIBLE you get so used to it that is like your mouth is too big and you have nothing to play with lol
